Questions
Straight answers, including the unflattering ones
Several of these have answers that would sell better if they were vaguer. They are stated plainly anyway, because the whole product is an argument about not overclaiming.

About the method
Does the AI write my résumé for me?
No, and it cannot. AI here only ever works from evidence you captured yourself, and it will not invent an accomplishment, a number, or a claim your record does not support. If your evidence is thin, you get a shorter document and a list of what to go document, not a padded one. That is a deliberate constraint, explained in full in how this differs from a résumé builder.
Do I need the software to use the method?
No. The entire method works with a printed job description, two highlighters, and paper, and the whitepaper is free to read with no signup. The software exists to make the habit easier to keep, not to make the method possible.
How long does this take?
Capturing one experience properly takes about five minutes. Working a single job posting through the full method, the first time, takes an hour or two, because you are building the evidence base at the same time. Subsequent postings are considerably faster, since the evidence is already there.
Will this get me past an ATS?
No honest product can promise that, and we will not. There is no single applicant tracking system, no universal score, and any number presented as your ATS score is invented by the tool showing it to you. What is true: every document exported here uses conservative structures that parse well, and you can verify that yourself by opening one and selecting the text. The designs page lists exactly what those structures are.
Plans and billing
What does the free plan actually include?
The whole method and room for 30 documented experiences, plus 4 postings a month worked end to end with AI — read, mapped, and defended — and 2 résumé designs. Reading a posting, decomposing it, mapping evidence, writing, verifying, and exporting to PDF, Word, or plain text are included on every plan, including the free one. No card is required to start.
Is there a trial that turns into a subscription?
No. There is no countdown, and nothing converts on a date. You are never charged without choosing a paid plan yourself — if you never upgrade, nothing happens.
How do I cancel?
From your own account settings, which open the billing portal directly. No phone call, no chat queue, no retention script. Cancelling leaves your evidence intact and moves you back to the free plan.
What happens to my records if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. If you hold more experiences than the free plan stores, the ones above that limit become read-only rather than disappearing, and they come back the moment you have room again. You can also export everything at any time, on any plan.
Your data
Who owns what I write?
You do. It is your career history. You can export the complete record as a single file whenever you want, and delete it outright from Settings, which destroys everything you entered, permanently. Your sign-in address is kept afterwards so a free grant cannot be claimed repeatedly by deleting and signing up again, and we will remove that too if you ask. See data and trust for the specifics.
Is my career record used to train AI models?
No. Your evidence is used to serve your own requests and nothing else. It is not sold, and it is not offered to anyone as training data.
Programs and teaching
Can this be taught to a group?
Yes, and it was designed for it. The method is published free and unabridged, so anyone can teach from it; there is a printed participant workbook, and class codes that grant a cohort full access without anyone entering a card. See for workforce programs.
What if my participants are not comfortable with software?
Every core exercise is done by hand in the workbook first. The software holds what they wrote afterward; it is not required during the session, and nobody has to be technical to complete the class.
