Affiliate Program Terms
Effective October 12, 2026.
These terms are between you, as an affiliate, and Enterprise Professional Systems LLC, which operates Standing Proof. You accept them on your affiliate setup page, before you set up payouts; we record when, and which version. The affiliate program page describes the program; where the two differ, these terms govern.
1. Who you are to us
You are an independent contractor. You are not our employee, agent, partner or representative, you cannot make promises or agreements on our behalf, and you are responsible for your own taxes and expenses.
2. Joining
You join by invitation or by applying. We decide whom to accept, may decline without giving a reason, and may end an affiliate’s participation as section 13 says.
3. What you earn
You earn 20% of what we actually receive for an individual plan from each account attributed to you, for that account’s first 12 paid months. Paid months are counted by what each payment covers, so a yearly payment is twelve of them.
- Nothing is earned on a free account, on the Professional Workspace subscription, on taxes, or on any amount refunded or disputed.
- If the account moves to another plan, your share follows the new price; if it cancels, your share stops with its payments.
- Introductions to organizations (a program, a school, an employer) are not covered: they would be a separate arrangement with separate terms, and nothing here pays on an organization’s contract.
4. How an account becomes yours
- Your link sets a cookie that lasts 90 days. An account created while it is present is attributed to you, and your code is written on the account the day it is created.
- The first link a person arrived through wins; a later link does not replace it, and nothing is attributed after the fact.
- Our records decide attribution, and we will show you the counts behind any question you raise.
5. When and how you are paid
- When: each commission becomes payable 45 days after the payment it is earned on, so that a refund or chargeback can arrive first. We pay what is payable about once a month.
- How: by a transfer through Stripe, our payment provider, to the Stripe account you set up from your setup page. Stripe then pays it to your bank on its own schedule. Payments are in US dollars, and no interest is paid on any amount.
- The minimum: we pay once at least $25 is payable; a smaller amount carries over to the next month until it reaches that.
- What you must do first: accept these terms, and complete Stripe’s setup. Until both are done, what you earn is recorded and kept for you, and paid once they are.
6. The information we collect to pay you
To pay you, Stripe collects your identity (your name, date of birth and address, and an identity document if it asks), your bank account, and a tax form: a W-9 if you are in the United States, or a W-8 if you are not. Stripe keeps them, under its own terms; we never see them. Stripe tells us only whether your account can receive payouts.
We keep your name or the name you give us, your contact address, your code, your Stripe account’s id and whether payouts are on, when you accepted these terms, and the record of what you earned and were paid. The Privacy Policy says how long.
7. Tax
You are responsible for the tax on what you earn. Where United States tax law requires it, we report your payments on a Form 1099, prepared through Stripe from the tax form you gave it. If a required tax form is missing, we may hold your payments until it is provided, or withhold tax where the law requires.
8. Refunds, disputes and corrections
- A refund or a dispute before a commission is paid cancels it. One after it is paid comes off what you earn next; if that leaves a negative balance, it carries forward until later commissions cover it.
- We may hold a payment while we look into activity that may break these terms, and we will tell you why.
- A mistake in your favor or ours is corrected, with a note in your record saying what and why.
9. The rules
Breaking one of these ends your participation, and commissions earned through the conduct are cancelled.
- Do not refer yourself, or create accounts to be referred.
- Do not run paid search on our brand or product names without written permission.
- Do not post your link to coupon or deal sites, or scrape one.
- Do not make claims about income, employment, interviews or jobs Standing Proof will produce, or quote any outcome statistic. We publish none.
- Do not send unsolicited bulk email or messages carrying your link.
- Do not write or solicit paid reviews, present yourself as Standing Proof, or as employed by it.
- Describe the product only as it is. Our Method and Trust pages are the boundary of what may be said.
- Do not use our name or logo in a domain, a social handle or an advertisement that could be taken for ours.
10. Telling people you are an affiliate
Wherever your link appears, say that you are an affiliate and earn a commission, clearly and before the link, as the law on endorsements requires. This line does it: “I am a Standing Proof affiliate and earn a commission if you subscribe through my link.”
11. Our name and materials
While you are an affiliate, you may use the Standing Proof name, logo and the materials we supply, as we supply them and only to refer people to Standing Proof. You may not change them. This permission ends when your participation ends.
12. Data
We tell you how many accounts are attributed to you and what you earned, never who they are or anything in them. Do not send us personal information about other people. A person who arrives through your link is governed by our Privacy Policy, not by you.
13. Ending
- Either of us may end your participation at any time by telling the other in writing; we may end it at once for a breach of these terms.
- When it ends, your link stops attributing new accounts and the permission in section 11 ends. Commissions already earned and not cancelled are paid as they become payable, unless it ended for a breach that earned them; nothing further is earned.
14. Changes
We may change the program or these terms, including the rate and the rules, for the future, and we will tell you before a change takes effect. A change never reduces a commission already earned. Continuing as an affiliate after a change takes effect is accepting it.
15. No promise of earnings
We do not promise that you will earn anything. We may pause or end the program; if we do, commissions already earned are paid as section 13 says, and we are not liable for what you expected to earn.
16. Responsibility, liability and law
- You are responsible for what you say and do as an affiliate, and you will cover our losses from claims caused by your breach of these terms or your own conduct.
- Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the commissions you earned in the twelve months before the claim.
- These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Enterprise Professional Systems LLC, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, as our Terms of Service are.
17. Contact
Questions about these terms, a payment or your record: write to us, or reply to any email we sent you.
